Terroir is a French word with no clean translation. It is the sum of a place: its soil, its altitude, its weather, the hands that work it. In wine, it is understood without question. In coffee, it is only beginning to be heard.
Parcelle exists to make it audible. We choose coffee by the plot, not by the region, and we keep that character whole from the ground to your cup.
Long before a bean meets heat, its character is already set. The elevation it grew at, the minerals beneath it, the rain it drank. Roasting can honour that or bury it. We roast to reveal, in small lots, stopping short of the point where every coffee begins to taste the same.

“The soil made a decision about this coffee long before we did. We simply listened.”
A Parcelle cup should taste of somewhere. Not of a brand, not of a roast style, but of a specific place on the earth. That is the whole intention: to carry a fragment of soil, undiluted, to the last sip.
